Dr. Hashmi is a graduate of of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She received her psychiatric residency training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her philosophy of care is to develop a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and mutual decision making. She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
