She will help you on the path as you work toward greater emotional and physical wellness, taking into account what wellness means to you. Her strategies include medication management, talk therapy drawing on techniques of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamics - helping you address obstacles in your self care and human connections. Her background in neurodevelopment and genetics research prior to medical school as well as education in bodywork and elements of Eastern healing disciplines contribute to her balanced perspective on wellness of the body, mind, and spirit. With her you will find a space welcoming and supportive of LGBTQ individuals and non-normative lifestyles. Dr. Reed is also a Certified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and well-versed in the Enneagram of Personality and can bring these frameworks into treatment strategies. She completed residency in Psychiatry at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA; medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA; post-graduate studies in neurodevelopment at University of California San Diego, and undergraduate at University of California Davis.
